I was presented with the opportunity to take part in an sports themed fashion shoot. Led by Richmond photographer Leoul, I was tasked with styling and modeling for his upcoming project. Leoul placed emphasis on visually connecting how sports and fashion continue to overlap.

The Process

Under Leoul's direction, every collaborator was carefully selected and guided through the vision using mood boards and visuals.

The vision was simple. Models were required to wear a sports jersey, but to get creative with the rest.

We operated a rotating sequence where models would alternate between two different sets. While shooting, the team was provided snacks and refreshments.

Key Takeaway
This collaboration served as a form of inspiration for me. Being in an environment with so many creatives working towards one goal was a great feeling. Leoul organizing such a large project inspired me to get out of my comfort zone and do the same.
